Until recently, I believed, as many others, that all there is to Kanban is a well-defined yet simple board used for tracking tasks at work. You know what I mean, the ‘to do’, ‘doing’ and ‘done’ columns filled with sticky notes that we are used to seeing in Mural, Jira and Trello, or on walls of offices and design studios across the country.
